The Department of Electrical Engineering is established in academic year 2019-20 with affiliation to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere, recognized by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State approved by AICTE, New Delhi with an initial intake of 60 students for B.Tech. Programme.
Electrical Engineering is the core study of the applications of electricity and electronics, which is one of the most chosen streams by engineering students.  It was introduced long back in 19 th  century.

Prof. S. B. Jamge

HOD & Assistant Professor

The primary objective of the Electrical Engineering Programme is to prepare students to enter and progress in electrical engineering positions in business, industry, and Government sectors. Graduates are generally expected to work in the research and development of ideas, products, and processes by applying engineering principles to the solution of practical problems in the Electrical Engineering field. The department have well qualified and experienced faculty members.

The department have well qualified and experienced faculty members. The faculty members have involved in various research activities e. g. publication of their research papers at national and international journals having good impact factors, filing the patents, submitting the research proposals, organizing the faculty development programme, Workshops etc. Also the faculty members have been honored by national and international awards. The department is having well equipped and advanced laboratories where the students can acquire the project based learning which minimizes the employment problems and makes them self-sufficient to serve the society and nation.

1) Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation Lab:

The main objective of this lab is to learn the  measurement of  various electrical quantities through demonstrations. . In this lab students will learn how to measure linear displacement, angular displacement, insulation resistance, and electrical parameters R, L, C. Equipment required for this is the Linear Variable Differential Transducer (LVDT) and Rotary Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT), Rotary Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT), LCR meter, Anderson bridge, Schering bridge, Maxwell’s bridge, Hay’s bridge, Ammeters, Voltmeters, Wattmeters, Energy meters, Rheostat and devices like resistance decade box, inductance decade box, capacitance decade box, Autotransformer, Dual power supply, Megger is used here.

2) Computer Center:

A Central Computing facility is maintained to cater to the general computing needs of both students and teachers. The institution recognizes the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as in research. Therefore, it is committed to providing computing facilities of the highest standards. This lab is equipped with 20 high performance computers and an EPSON LCD Projector. Leased line connection provides unlimited internet usage facility at a high speed of 100 Mbps. This is Open to students at all times during the college hours as well as after college hours and on holidays.
