A grand alumni meet, “SmrutiSangam,” was organized for the first time in our college. Alumni from all branches of the 2023, 2024, and 2025 batches came together, making this day significant and special as they strengthened their bond with the institute once again.

At the beginning of the program, the alumni were welcomed with gifts and bouquets. The program was inaugurated by Dr. P. J. Kulkarni, Former Deputy Director and Distinguished Professor at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli along with the President of the program and Office Secretary of Shri Siddheshwar Devsthan, Shri. Nilkanthappa Konapure, along with Devsthan Vice President Shri. Siddheshwar Bamani. Trustees and Governing Body members Prof. C. B. Nadagauda, Shri. Prakash Birajdar, and Shri. Pashupatinath Mashal were also present

Addressing the alumni, Dr. P. J. Kulkarni stated that the first alumni meet is not merely a gathering but a foundation for future collaboration and development. He emphasized the importance of sharing experiences—both positive and challenging—with current students so that they receive proper guidance in their careers and skill development. He further urged alumni to come forward as mentors, sharing their knowledge, experience, and positive outlook, thereby becoming role models for the students. He also appealed to them to visit the college frequently to maintain regular interaction with current students.

President of program and Office Secretary of Shri Siddheshwar Devsthan, Shri. Nilkanthappa Konapure, welcomed all alumni and extended his best wishes for their future life. Trustee and Governing Body Member Prof. C. B. Nadagauda expressed great happiness in meeting the first batch of students. He recalled that the institution started with only 28 students in the academic year 2019–20, and today it has grown upto 1700 students — a proud achievement. This success, he noted, was possible only due to the strong belief, consistent guidance, and unwavering support of the institute’s President, Shri. Dharmaraj Kadadi. Because of his vision, the small sapling of the college has now grown into a large, flourishing tree.

Principal of the college, Dr. T. A. Chavan, shared his thoughts, saying that the alumni meet is not just a reunion but an important link that strengthens the relationship between the institute and its alumni. He expressed that creating a stronger alumni network in the coming years is their primary objective, and active participation from every alumna is essential. He appealed to them to contribute to their alma mater in any possible way. The guidance and support received from alumni will provide the right direction to the new generation of students, he said.

Alumni representatives Ms. Gayatri Lagshetti and Ms. Alisha Tamboli expressed their gratitude toward the institute and teachers for shaping their personalities and careers. They also promised to extend support in mentoring, training, and placements in the future. During the morning session, alumni interacted with all students from FY to Final Year and share their experiences on topics such as technical skills, soft skills, classroom-to-corporate transition, career guidance, essential skills for future engineers, and industry expectations, etc.
